Greatest Career Stat Line the NBA has ever seen

Lebron James is slowly approaching a career stat line that will put him in a class all by himself. Several players can make a case for having the best career stat line. The three that stand out the most to me are Wilt Chamberlain, the all-time leader in rebounds and top ten in scoring, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, who is currently the all-time leader in points, 3rd all-time on the Blocks list, and top 5 in rebounding. Then you have Hakeem Olajuwon, who, to me, has the best career stat line.

Before I list his career statistical rankings, I have to point out that Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain would be on the All-time Blocklist, but they didn’t start recording Blocks until 73-74. That’s 112 games of Wilts career, and it came at the end, so his numbers were nowhere near as impressive as they would have been earlier in his career.

Back to Olajuwon, he is top 15 in both scoring and rebounding. What makes it more special is his defensive numbers, he is the all-time leader in blocks, and he is currently 9th on the all-time steals list as a center!

At best, Lebron could crack the top 25 in rebounding, and he will be nowhere near the top 25 in blocks, but it would still be impressive if he could get to 1000 blocks for his career. As of right now, he is 3rd all-time in scoring, 8th all-time in assists, and could possibly finish top 10 in steals by the end of his career. Currently, Bron is sitting at 13th all time.

Lebron James will have the most impressive NBA career stat line because he will have 30k points, 10k rebounds, and 10k assists!

That’s nuts because his numbers epitomize the type of player he has been for the last 18 years, impacting every aspect of the game. It looks like he should reach this accomplishment at some point next season. Look, I know many people don’t like Lebron James for reasons I that I do not understand. Cool, he doesn’t have to be on your favorite player list, but if he isn’t on your top 5 all-time list, the only thing that I can call you is a hater.
I look forward to him making history this year and maybe eventually passing Kareem for the number one spot on the all-time scoring list. If he accomplishes that on top of being the only member of the 30k, 10k, 10k club, I’m going to call him the greatest basketball player to ever play in the NBA.
